Twins Abby and Charlie, and their cats Oscar and Emmy, are visited by a stray cat that keeps coming to their house. Abby and Charlie decide to put out some treats for the cat and watch with excitement to see if it eats them. After a short while, the cat appears and gobbles up the treats, leaving Oscar and Emmy feeling jealous that another cat is taking their food! As time goes on, the cat brings her litter of kittens who are just as hungry as she is. The twins' mom explains that not all cats have a home and that the best thing is to arrange TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) with their vet. The kids have fun luring the mother cat and her kittens into a crate and taking them to the vet. What will happen after the surgery and will the mother cat and her kittens still visit their house? Find out in this wonderful book, Oscar and Emmy Gain a Friend.
