Paths of Meaning by Christian Filli opens each chapter with anecdotes from famous artists and other prominent personalities that effectively sets the tone of the book. It is about the meaning of life and questions the way we see, think and feel. The book has topics on how we think and how we discover as well as how we learn, how we work, how we lead, and how we grow. It ends with a thought-provoking conclusion. The author tries to make sense of the fact that while we are encouraged to be true to our own personality, values, and spirit, we live under pressure to act otherwise. The book challenges us to balance wealth and achievement with a sense of collective well-being and fulfillment and changes the way we define the meaning of a successful life.
In a technology-driven, fast-changing world, Christian Filli’s Paths of Meaning forces us to pause and see for ourselves the real meaning of our existence. Well written and easy to read, it is a social analysis that promotes change in how we think and live. And in the spirit of truthfulness and self-liberation, the author urges us to question everything and be aware of the cosmic rhythm around us. The book suggests that finding balance in life should entail constant renewal and constant re-centering of ourselves, and this could be a painful process. Paths of Meaning is a provocative and intriguing view of human existence and it surely deserves a place on every reader's bookshelf. I highly recommend this book!
