She is also a strong advocate for women's rights organizations. CC is no stranger to sexual harassment and being mistreated by men who think it's their right to do as they please. CC has always encouraged her daughters, Scottie and Megan, to be strong and independent. Scottie has taken up the women's activism torch with SafeSearle. When the hate group Men R.O.A.R (Reclaim Our Authority and Rights) targets her daughter for working against sexual violence, CC creates a hit list of local members. but someone begins targeting CC for revenge. Power Surge is an action-packed story about a woman who does everything in her power to stop men who don't see women as worthy of being treated fairly and only see them as sex objects. Her intentions to support women and stop their mistreatment are good, but her character is flawed because she resorts to murder, and crossing those lines means others will do the same. CC's actions make her a target and put her family at risk. Qnert's writing shows the importance of the consequences of our actions. The men were targeting and abusing women and CC's hatred for the men prompted her to rid the world of them. But responding to hatred with hatred doesn't fix issues and can sometimes come at a high cost.
