Quentin Tyler, Sr., is the best lawyer in Prominent, New York. He is sexy, nicely built with brown eyes and tan skin. He taught his eldest daughter and protégée, Quiche (Keesh) everything about the law. Quentin was a good father but he had a problem being faithful to his wife. His wife knew he was cheating on her since they were dating and she still decided to get married to him. Quentin is going to host a big dinner party to make an important announcement and his son imagines himself being the head of the company. Quentin has some secrets which his family does not know about and, finally, the past is catching up with him. Who will he choose to be the new CEO of Tyler & Associates? Can he win back the respect of his children, especially Quiche?
Prominent Pleasure by Ms. Lorraine E. Shaw is a fascinating story with a lot of drama, secrets, deceit, passion and illicit relationships which involve the main characters. The author portrays the characters well and they come across as real and relatable. The twists, turns, and suspense in the plot will make readers curious and eager to know what is going to happen next. The fluidity in expression gives a good pace and movement to the plot, making it an entertaining read. I like the way the author has woven the many characters and their relationships into the main plot without sounding forced, making the story flow smoothly. Every character has been given a fair amount of importance so that they leave an impact in the minds of readers, and their emotions and feelings are palpable to readers.
