After making a groundbreaking discovery in energy, Jack attracts attention from not only national security but also international power players. Bella finds herself dragged into a dangerous race for survival alongside Jack, as they guard the fate of millions in their hands. Will they survive whatever is coming their way? What is Payman hiding from Bella? Find out in Mark Ziska’s Quantum.

Lovers of science fiction novels blended with a coming-of-age tale, romantic drama, and a touch of political thriller will find Mark Ziska’s Quantum an enthralling read. Featuring a diverse cast, Mark Ziska runs the plot on a multi-perspective timeline. The subtle tone accompanying the storyline kept me guessing what was coming next, keeping me turning page after page. I could not tell where the story was heading. Coupled with the attention to detail, this gave the story a slow-burning feel. The vivid depictions made me feel like I was next to the cast in every scene, closely following as the action unfolded. Ziska allows me to gain insight into the cast’s emotions through overt depictions, purposeful character-driven conversations, and introspection. Juxtaposing their complex traits made it easy to connect with them. There is betrayal, fate, sex, money, power, loyalty, duplicity, science, espionage, adventure, bursts of action, and more in this read.
