Author Biography

Raised on Bram Stoker and Stephen King, Ellen read Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness" in 2000 and has never been the same. Now she takes the horror/ paranormal/ vampire genre directly into the heart of spiritual matters, pitting good against evil within the confines of Biblical truth. Scripture is often bloody and the struggle to escape the claws of evil is real and personal. With writing as her passion and her main hobby, Ellen lives in Alabama with her family and does NOT have holes in her neck.

Rabbit Redemption is the third book in the Rabbit Trilogy by Ellen C. Maze. The story of Beth and the Rakum community continues. A battle begins as the story continues. After the Rakum race was almost decimated and only a thousand few remain, a new threat is emerging to change the face of the race. Isaac the Last seems to be the only powerful being that can help the Rakum get back on their feet and claim their glory once again. But things are not as they seem. There is something inside him that craves blood and death and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. So young Isaac goes on a quest to find all the Elders and get their blood. He is becoming too ruthless and power-hungry, everything that even the Rakum fear. Is there anyone out there who can stop Isaac before it is too late?

Yet another masterpiece by Ellen C. Maze! This series is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites and this is all because of the author’s unique and intricate writing style. She has a flair with words that just sucks you in the story and makes you forget the world. What I loved the most about this particular novel is how the author foreshadows the future of the story. All of the past characters have been brought to this novel and I loved reading about them. The most memorable of them were Canaan and Javier as they try to battle with their own selves and try to fight the evil at the same time. Isaac is such a powerful character; he is a villain that makes you feel scared but you are in awe of him at the same time. I don’t remember the last time I liked a villain this much, to be honest. This is absolute entertainment.
