In Random Musings of the Left Hemisphere, Mike Joyner reviews his socioeconomic position and shares his views on policy, politics, and news stories that have emerged over the last eight years. The sections are labeled, and some include posts from social media when opinions and tensions about a particular issue were at their strongest. Joyner outlines his views on matters such as gun control while also expressing his appreciation for life, liberty, and humanity. He embraces the achievements of heroes and encourages others to follow their example and make similar contributions. He also tackles other topics that may be considered highly controversial.
Mike Joyner has suffered failures, battled an extreme bout of COVID, and lived to express his feelings about conditions in the United States. The author covers a wide range of topics from the debates about abortion, the COVID virus, and racial injustice to feelings of nostalgia. The book is broken into insightful pieces that examine the author’s view of current events and politics.
