This book has a very complex, multi-faceted plot. "Raven’s Ladder" is the third book in the Auralia’s Thread. This is a fantastic series but should be read in the order that they were written. The plot is too complex for the book to be read alone. There is a deep message in this book concerning standing firm in your faith.

I found myself attempting to see this book in light of an allegory. However, it does not read that way. I could not place God as one particular character. Instead the reader will find both a philosophical and spiritual theme. The guide at the end of the book is invaluable. This is a fast paced fantasy. The plot is fascinating but the characters are what make this book. The plot quickly draws the reader into the action. There is at least another book in this series. I look forward to reading it.
