Have you ever wondered what adventures can be had if you went outside your normal boundaries? In Robbie the Robot Vacuum and His Big Adventure by Sara Biggs, you can join Robbie as he experiences his first adventure outside his house. Of course, Robbie loved his house and his family, but still, he wondered what it was like in other places. As Robbie rolled down the sidewalk, he came to a nice park with ducks on a lake. He thought it looked like fun to float on the water, so he jumped into a boat to join the ducks. What other new and wonderful things did Robbie encounter during his adventure? While it was fun to have an adventure, Robbie felt happiest and most comfortable in his own home. Where would you like to go to find an adventure?
Can cleaning ever be fun? The answer is yes if you learn to see the world through the eyes of your cleaning equipment. Sara Biggs shows how much fun it is to imagine the vacuum cleaner having an adventure outside the house in Robbie the Robot Vacuum and His Big Adventure. Parents can use this book to help their children learn that adventures are all around them. While they may love their family, that does not mean they can’t enjoy exploring all the world has to offer. Unconditional love helps a child know they can go on an adventure and then be welcomed home, where they will always belong. Daniela Frongia did a masterful job of illustrating this children’s book. Take your children to new areas and let them explore, finding all the new experiences they can.
