Devyn Sterling went to Ireland to search for her birth mother. The Guardian Angelinos were approached by an old friend of Marc Rossi from his FBI days. He wanted them to get Devyn out of Belfast as soon as possible. Marc went to Ireland to find Devyn. She was not happy when she found out why Marc was there. She told him that she would give him information about her father if he helped her find her mother. Devyn ‘s ex-husband refused to have children with her because of her unknown gene pool. This weighed heavily on her mind. She was not sure she wanted to get involved with Marc other than using his help.
This is the second installment in the Guardian Angelino's series. I liked it as much as the first one in which Marc had a small part. The plot flows nicely. I read it all in one setting. I loved the descriptions of the towns in Ireland. Some of the same characters from the first book were mentioned and had bit parts. Marc and Devyn was a fiery couple; they shot sparks from their first meeting. The interaction between the two was great and kept me turning the pages. The cover is nice, not sure it lends a lot to the story but it's a good picture.
