In Sleuth by R. L Lesnick, the author takes the reader on a wonderful journey through the life of a Private Investigator. The reader’s attention is captured from the very first paragraph and is held as Lesnick takes you through his journey of learning, fighting, frustration, love, disappointment, laughter, joy, and the satisfaction of a job well done. The reader is shown in the most interesting way how things can go wrong and how people’s greed can make them do the most unusual things. But the truth will prevail. The author keeps the reader's attention with just enough information so as to make them want to know more. The characters are many and varied, giving the reader a great cross-section of stories about crime that keep you reading late into the night. The author also shows the reader the process of obtaining a license to practice and how complicated it can be but, in the end, the reader understands why it is this complicated.

In Sleuth by R.L. Lesnick, the reader will find that through the course of the book, certain aspects will strike a chord in their own memory when they may have been or worked in similar circumstances but did not know how to proceed. I really enjoyed the book and found it to be very informative in a memorable and relaxing way which made reading great fun. I learned a lot and remembered incidents in my working career that now made sense but, in most cases, management was involved which made it difficult. Thank you for an inspiring read which help me understand that in some instances it was not my fault. It was a privilege to read this book.
