Soaring Through Adversity by Renee J. Breazeale is a memoir of the author’s personal experience in finding peace through the most challenging season in her life. Being told that you have a brain tumor is terrifying as is, let alone a tumor the size of a golf ball. For Renee, her work is her life and she has grown accustomed to the routine of her busy lifestyle. With her diagnosis, her life was flipped completely. Suddenly, life came to a complete standstill. Yet, these darkest moments are what led her to God’s grace that strengthened her to weather the storms. She found what was meant to be.
Soaring Through Adversity: Life Lessons to Lead, Triumph and Rise Above by Renee J. Breazeale is a motivating memoir that will touch all hearts. This memoir shows the bitter truth of the author’s different seasons in life, from her family’s struggling manufacturing business, her will to pursue further education, her unexpected divorce, her dedication to her career, to the day she was diagnosed with her brain tumor and how she became closer to God. This book will show you that life is not an easy road, but these roads teach you the most valuable life lessons. I love the compilation of advice at the end of each chapter that is related to the different seasons in her life. I also really like the quotes that illustrate the beginning of each chapter, making it motivating and charming at the same time. Overall, this is a fantastic book for those who are confused and uncertain about what is happening in their lives. It shows that the most difficult times of your life are what encourage you to grow.
