Storms in life happen when we use wrong or mixed materials. The author says that if we use the right materials in building a strong foundation, then we will be able to withstand all the storms in life. The book effectively teaches readers to walk amid fire and that with God's love there is always a way out from depression, loss, sin and many other negative feelings rampant now in society. The book is a compelling read on spirituality and the Biblical examples reiterate the power of God.
The book revolves around the scriptures and Psalms. The author goes into detail on the quotes, making it easy for readers to comprehend and form their own opinions. One should guard against lack of prayers, slothfulness, unforgiveness, cold-love, distractions, diversions and detours.
