Stephen Stanley's Puzzle Body, by Stephen Stanley, is a fun and informative read, full of exciting situations and interesting facts. The book takes the reader on an incredible journey inside the human body, covering the important parts while telling a story of monsters that can invade our body. There is a whole array of different monsters, each with their own name, style, and identity. This enables the reader not only to become familiar with different types of viruses and bacteria that can make us ill, but the writer illustrated them in such a way that one can't help but pick a favorite and cheer for it to survive this exciting journey until the end, despite all the controls and defense mechanisms that our body has to eradicate such threats.
Stephen Stanley's Puzzle Body is accompanied by excellent illustrations that depict the cuteness of the monsters in question. They are very detailed, which enables the reader to get completely immersed in the drawings and the story while traveling from one side of the body to the other. There is also an interactive part combined with the illustrations, which makes this book educational as well. It is up to the reader, however, to find out what it is all about. This is an excellent read full of interesting facts. Being both interactive and educational, Stephen Stanley's Puzzle Body will appeal to children of all ages, as well as adults. With its colorful illustrations, quirky monster names and factual story, this book will take you on a journey that you never knew you needed...until now.
