In a world where dragons and humans co-exist, Kya, youngest of the dragons, has recently reached adulthood. Named as the latest Bloodstone dragon, Kya possesses powerful magic, but none of her gifts will help her succeed in the challenge of assuming her human form to live among the species they distrust. A chance meeting with Armstrong Knight changes her understanding of humans, and the two become friends, although both of them secretly desire more. Kya risks exposing the greatest secrets of the Dracontias to remain close to Armstrong, but not all humans are content to co-exist with the benevolent dragons. A secret organization searches for a way to control the magical power of the dragons and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal.

Steamy romance and thrilling intrigues will keep PNR fans hooked until the last page. Kya is a powerful character with a strong personality and a deep sense of compassion. Author ND Jones ensures the reader never forgets Kya’s true nature, even in her human form. It’s something Armstrong can’t forget either, and his acceptance, his willingness to bend and his unflinching faith in their relationship set Armstrong apart in a genre where men are too often characterized as overly-macho alpha types. An understated but nonetheless compelling and convincing alternate earth mythology and magic system complete this fast-paced, tightly-plotted novel. Captivating characters that break the mold and a plot that excites and tantalizes as it builds to a very satisfying conclusion make Stones of Dracontias: The Bloodstone Dragon a novel no PNR fan should miss.
