It is no wonder that most of us go through life too afraid to live the lives we want. From the moment a child begins school, they are groomed by the world around them, and by a society that demands they conform to a certain way of thinking and behaving. The media and society in general force an agenda that makes us feel unworthy and therefore unhappy on a daily basis. This book breaks down the reasons we live in a constant state of stress and gives you the tools to start living an authentic life. Discover how your mind can be your worst enemy and keep you in a toxic cycle of self-doubt, and therefore hold you back from fulfilling any of your goals and dreams. Learn how to become more in tune with your thought patterns and make them work in your favour and not to your detriment. Do not let anyone rob you of the chance to become who you truly are.
Stop Ruining Your Life: A Guide to Overcoming Self Destruction and Loving Your Life Again by Anthony Gucciardi is one of the best motivational and inspiring books I have read in a long time. It is absolutely filled to bursting with insightful techniques to help with past traumas, toxic relationships with friends and family, and low self-esteem. I loved the analogies used throughout, along with the inspirational quotes and true life cases. The section on energetic epicenter concerning how to train yourself to listen more to your gut instinct and not your mind was very helpful. These techniques will teach you how to switch your focus from negative thoughts to positive ones. If you want to achieve true self authenticity and build your confidence to achieve your goals without fear of failure or judgement, then this book ticks all the boxes.
