I'll be honest in saying that I am not a fan of relationships. While my friends dangle their weekly lover like a noodle hanging off a fork, I was always content to study, work, and try my hardest to progress my career. That's why I was so immediately satisfied when I discovered Vivian Margaret, the main character in Lori Power's Storms of Passion. Like myself, Vivian is tired of the conventionality that comes with relationships, and strives for something that will make her feel more satisfied. The book is filled with incredible anecdotes, adventure, and of course - the romance that we all can't get enough of. To everyone searching for their own adventure, whether this is in the form of a relationship or a plane ticket to a foreign destination, I highly recommend this book.
