Author Biography

I am a survivor of abuse, suicide and attempted murder, but none of that compared to the horror of the sudden death of my son when I was 8 months pregnant, or the severe trauma of finding out three years later that the hospital had kept his body to use in experiments.
I had no help. No support, so I used writing, meditation and tapping into my own gifts to find a way back to life.
Writing saved me and I became an award winning author of historical & supernatural fiction, but I knew I could do more.
I trained to become a counsellor, a grief teacher, holistic therapist, drumming therapy, movement & music therapist and using the new connection with my Angels & Spirit I learned the power of voice, sound and humming.
Combining all of these powerful energies I created my own unique online courses to help and heal grief and trauma, such as anger, stress, lack of self worth and more, workshops and bespoke one to one therapies for clients around the world.
When this book became best-seller I started to write mini books, being even more specific on grief topics and issues.
I am currently writing another mini book in the 'How Do I...' series and the next Diary in the 'Diary of Women' series.
I want to help women empower themselves, connect with Mother Earth, heal their wounds and come back to life.

Survive Grief & Come Back to Life by Paula J Roscoe is a heartbreaking, compassionate, and uplifting memoir of a survivor. It discusses death, grief, and what one can expect to feel following the death of someone dear to them. It contains information on the grieving process, how it is different for everyone, the five stages of grief, a few typical reactions to grief, sex drive/libido when grieving, complicated grief, and more. Paula shares her perspective on grief and her journey of discovery through surviving toxic relationships, abuse, suicide attempts, trauma, and profound loss. This book provides self-help writing exercises that help a grieving person achieve some clarity and be proactive in their healing and real-life scenarios that uncover problems that people grieving have to face. It also provides ways to cope with grief, including how to deal with the overwhelming emotions you may feel during it and how to honor yourself and your deceased loved ones.

Told with raw vulnerability and unfiltered honesty, Survive Grief & Come Back to Life is an incredible memoir of a truly remarkable survivor worth reading all the way through. Even though Paula J Roscoe's life story broke my heart into pieces, it also renewed my belief in the resilience and strength of the human spirit. This book is a powerful reminder that we shouldn't avoid talking about death, funerals, and wills and that we must prepare for this obvious outcome of life. It's for anyone who wishes to avoid getting lost in grief, understand what is happening within themselves, embrace life again, and keep moving forward without judging themselves or others harshly. I highly recommend it.
