Susie Strickland, Sizzling Striker by Kalenga Augustine Mulenga is an inspirational book for young children. A girl named Susie loves soccer and was known as the best striker in her school. One day, whilst playing a practice game, Susie's team was losing. The coach sends Susie off the pitch and substitutes another striker, a boy named Spencer. This makes Susie sad, even when her team turns the game around. The next day, Spencer falls off his bike, providing Susie with an important decision to make that will affect her outlook entirely. Will she laugh at Spencer and bask in his misery or will she help him? Find out in this entertaining book.
Susie Strickland, Sizzling Striker has an important message behind it, which is the main thing I love when it comes to reading children's books. The story is simple yet highly effective in delivering the author's message. The illustrations are colorful and professional and they will capture the young reader's attention from the moment they lay their eyes on them. I loved every word by K A Mulenga and I hope he continues to write more useful content for children. Keep up the good work. I'm sure that this and any future books will be a great success. Keep writing and stay creative.
