T.V. Holiday's Vendetta: Legend of the Iron Warrior series began when Travis Holiday, a Carnage Coast police officer, survived a near-fatal accident and was chosen as The Iron Warrior, heaven’s champion against the forces gathering over the city. Opposing him is Sensation, architect of the Free Love Initiative, whose plan seeks humanity’s rejection of God. Later, after a failed coup, murders spread across Carnage Coast, and darkness begins taking hold within Travis himself, and he is left to face Monsoon and Crimson Queen to save both his family and Carnage Coast. Now, in the series' newest release, Vendetta, after spending two years cut off from the city, Travis Holiday returns when Candace Loveless begins hunting those closest to him. Her campaign turns his history into a public reckoning, threatening his very identity.

T.V. Holiday’s Vendetta pushes Travis Holiday through the harshest reckoning of the series, turning Carnage Coast into both battleground and courtroom. Candace Loveless appears as a formidable antagonist because every attack is aimed at tearing Travis down completely, testing who the man beneath the Iron Warrior armor is for all of Carnage Coast. The action scenes rage with bank sieges, imprisonment, and a wild circus that gives the story an ironclad series of escalations—bad pun, regretfully, intended. Rebecca, Rainstorm, Leslie, and Johnny all function as a fully realized team, and their loyalty is also tested under pressure. Candace’s use of broadcast spectacle and psychological warfare gives the story a relentless pace, and the twisted revelation that comes along with the Archangel sharpens the central question of identity. I'm happy to say that the finale sets up the next book nicely, and I'm already packing to go to Brimstone!

T.V. Holiday's Vendetta is the third book in the Legend of the Iron Warrior series. The war between heaven and hell is played out in the seaside city of Carnage Coast. Two years after his self-imposed exile, Travis Holiday, a.k.a. the Iron Warrior, is back in business, ready to fight on behalf of humanity once again. With his companions, Crystal and Ashley, Warrior arrives in Carnage City, where the deadly forces of Simpleton, Diversion, and the Diabolical Donnas have been wreaking havoc, much to the chagrin of Detective Sergeant Rebecca Walters. Meanwhile, Candace Lexington is back and wants to take down the Warrior at any cost. After a string of murders, Warrior finds himself framed for a crime he didn't commit. Now, he must face Candace and his own alter ego.

T.V. Holiday's Vendetta is an action-packed ride from start to finish. T.V. Holiday has built an immersive fantasy world featuring vigilante superheroes, conniving adversaries, and supernatural villains. It's the age-old story of good versus evil with a fresh twist. The narrative is simply a joy to read. The author keeps the plot moving at a brisk pace, and the reader is dropped into the midst of the action from the get-go. The characters are defined by their unique personalities and powers. I loved the dynamic between Warrior, Ashley, and Crystal. Rebecca and Hinks were my favorites among the secondary characters. As far as the villains go, Candace always seemed to be one step ahead. The narrative is perfectly set up for a final confrontation between these characters. All in all, this is a treat for fans of fantasy and superhero fiction.

Tired of the strife in Carnage Coast, the Seventh City, and the final battlefield in the raging war between God and Luc, Travis Holiday, the Iron Warrior, leaves the city with Crystal and Ashley. However, the truck breaks down, and a distress call drags him right back into the fray. After helping the city’s local police and fellow champions ward off an attack by Luc’s minions, he soon learns that a new villain is in town, Candace Loveless. She has sworn to make Travis pay for something in the past and is hellbent on exposing him as a fraud. There seems to be no end to the pain and destruction she is willing to wreak in Travis’s life, and worst of all, she knows his darkest secrets. Will the Iron Warrior survive what is coming his way? Find out in Vendetta: Legend of the Iron Warrior Volume 3 by T. V. Holiday.

Once you open this page turner, there is no stopping, as it will carry you from the first chapter to the last. If you are looking for a fast-paced, grim, urban fantasy packed with high-octane action, thrills, suspense, drama, horror, and a compelling backstory of Christian mythology, Vendetta is a must-read. Basing the premise on the cosmic conflict between God and Lucifer, Holiday weaves an intricate storyline featuring diverse, fascinating superheroes and villains. The cinematic depictions made reading the story feel like watching a Hollywood superhero TV show. Travis is an intriguing protagonist. While anointed as God’s last defender against Luc, he is not only fighting evil, but is also in a constant battle against his own darkness. Fans of The Batman will love this read. It is an incredible third book in the series.

T.V. Holiday's Vendetta is the third book in the Legend of the Iron Warrior series. Travis has been gone for two years now, and his quiet life is disrupted when he is called back into action and tasked to lead The Iron Warrior. But coming out to take leadership puts him and those close to him in grave danger, as a person he once helped is on an all-out revenge mission. She is the ruthless Candace Loveless, and she poses a threat not only to Travis but to citizens as well, especially those with any ties to him. Every moment poses danger, every move can have deadly consequences, and in this game of cat-and-mouse, can Travis save everyone without betraying his core values? How far will Candace go to exact her revenge?

Vendetta was a surprisingly excellent read in the series, and I found so much to enjoy, especially the clever character development. I was intrigued by how well T.V. Holiday builds mystery around Travis’ personality and wanted to see how he evolves and handles the threats posed by Candace in the story. Of course, when you have a solidly written protagonist, you want the antagonist to be equally despicable, and Candace Loveless is everything I hate in a character — vile, mean, and needlessly wicked. The pacing was fast, and the scenes are focused, filled with action. The entertainment factor is fueled by the well-crafted dialogues, the suspenseful narrative, and the unpredictable plot. I was gripped from the opening pages and had to keep reading until the last scene.

In T.V. Holiday’s Vendetta, book three in the Legend of the Iron Warrior series, Travis Holiday is a man in Carnage Coast who can transform into the armored figure known as the Iron Warrior. His life begins to collapse when Candace Loveless starts using kidnappings, murders, and citywide broadcasts to force him into the open. She knows details about his past that almost no one should, and she uses that knowledge to turn the police, the media, and even people close to him against him. As more attacks hit the city, Travis is blamed for crimes tied to a hidden network operating under his name. He is jailed, publicly exposed, and cut off from the people he depends on, yet Candace keeps pushing him toward one final confrontation built around his history.

T.V. Holiday’s Vendetta is a wildly entertaining superhero story, with plenty of action and a lot of heart. Travis is likable for his relatability as a father, as well as for his alter-ego Iron Warrior, who we see responding to violent threats against other enhanced opponents, and shielding everyday people caught in the crossfire. The world-building is extraordinary and operates through a structure where law enforcement works alongside these human-hybrids who can manipulate natural forces, like the elements, or have engineered devices that affect human behavior. Above this is a larger spiritual conflict, and here is where the story turns into something bigger. Two huge examples are in Travis battling a counterpart known as the Archangel, and another scene where he is given an ultimatum to deny his faith. With sharp, intelligent writing and a lot of great twists, this is a series I am thrilled to be on board with. Very highly recommended.
