Ten Talking Tacos: A Wild and Wacky Counting Adventure is written by Anders Roseberg and Rose Zilla and illustrated by Ayan Saha. Crunchy tacos have very fragile shells. They should be careful of the things they do so they don’t crack or break into pieces or fall prey to someone else’s hunger. Some tacos like to roller-skate, but what happens if they fall? Some tacos like to rock out or practice kung fu. Crime fighters and superhero tacos have to be super careful, too. What will happen to these fun-loving crunchy tacos when they decide to do what they do best? Will they play a little too rough? How many tacos will be left standing, playing, or dancing? How wacky will these tacos get? Let the countdown begin!

Ten Talking Tacos is an entertaining picture book that will help kids learn how to count backward from ten in a very unusual but fun way. I love how each page describes a wacky event that leaves yet another taco missing. The illustrations by Ayan Saha are entertaining and will keep kids laughing while they learn the fundamental skill of counting backward in math. I recommend Ten Talking Tacos by Anders Roseberg and Rose Zilla to early learners who love mischievous antics in a story they can learn from. This picture book is something that will tickle the funny bone of any young child while they learn. I hope these authors write more wacky and educational stories like this in the future.
