Author Biography

Sylvia Bambola is the award winning author of eight novels. Her novel, Rebekah’s Treasure, won the 2014 Readers Favorite Bronze Award for Christian Historical Fiction and the 2015 Book of the Year Award, Christian Small Press Association, for Historical Fiction. The Salt Covenants was the 2015 Readers Favorite Bronze Award winner for Christina Historical Fiction. She has two grown children, and teaches women’s Bible studies.

In a great new work of Christian fiction by author Sylvia Bambola, The Babel Conspiracy is a story that will keep readers on the edge of their seats and obsessively turning the pages from the start all the way through to the very end. Follow the story of female engineers, Trisha Callahan and Audra Shields, as they work to develop the first ever nuclear powered aircraft, amongst the growing threat of global terrorism as well as their own messy personal lives. Trisha struggles to maintain her deep faith in God when she finds herself falling in love with a married man. Audra has always lived a devil-may-care type of lifestyle, but when she finds herself in a relationship that borders on the dangerous, she begins to question what she thought she always wanted. Will either woman find what they are truly looking for as well as complete the mission of their work? You'll need to read the book to find out.

I very much enjoyed The Babel Conspiracy. Author Sylvia Bambola has done a fantastic job of creating characters that her readers will truly connect with and care about. The Christian message of the story comes across strongly, but is not so overwhelming that readers will feel as if they are being hit over the head with it. This story is exciting and filled with political intrigue and action, and any reader looking for a great book should absolutely pick it up, even if they are not specifically looking for Christian fiction. I highly recommend The Babel Conspiracy, and I look forward to reading more from author Sylvia Bambola as soon as I possibly can!

The Babel Conspiracy, written by Sylvia Bambola, was the third book I've read from this author and once again I'm shown what talent Bambola expresses in her writing as each of these books is so different from the other. I think it was most like The Salt Covenants that I read previously from her,..in the fact that they are both rather deep reads.
My favorite character in this story is Trisha Callahan. Trisha knows the Lord as her Savior yet she finds herself falling in love with a married man. She knows she can never act upon her feelings for Michael Patterson, her boss, she fights it with all she has within her (the Holy Spirit) and focuses on her job....building the worlds first nuclear powered aircraft. Trisha has every opportunity to not follow what is right and give into her feelings and even denounce her faith, but she doesn't. She is faithful to God and He shows His faithfulness to her in return.
Soooo many political and spiritual situations occur in this story that I just cannot give details about because i don't want to ruin the readers experience...but i strongly recommend this read! It's deep...a lot of scientific information, political misuse of power and even the introduction of some terrible terrorists show up in this story. I recommend you read it when you can focus on the events going on in this page turner and stick with it through to the end because it's an awesome read!

It is so wonderful when you can find a good book that has a compelling story and amazing characters. Babel Conspiracy will have you hooked from the first page and you will be eager to find out how these character's lives turn out. You want to know will they honor God, will the surrender to Him and how does all the political intrigue play out.

Trisha and Mike will keep you on your toes wondering if they will do the right thing or give in to temptation. This is the kind of story you want to spend your day reading and you are not happy to see it end.

The Babel Conspiracy is a tremendous book. The book is very well written with characters facing real life situations. One character facing infidelity and another questioning her immoral lifestyle. This is my first book by this author but I will be reading more of her work. This is not a quick read and it is very thought provoking. I highly recommend this book. I was given a copy of the book for this honest review. My thanks to the author.
