The Best Phrasal Verbs and How to Use Them by Zhanna Hamilton is a book that will teach readers how to use phrasal verbs and give more impact to the sentences they are forming and using while writing and speaking. Phrasal verbs form an integral part of English language, and the book has examples in alphabetical order of the phrasal verbs, their meanings, and how to use them effectively in sentences. The 138 phrasal verbs with examples will help tutors and students alike. The author also focuses only on one meaning for all the phrasal verbs so that the book does not get too complicated for readers to understand.
The book is definitely helpful to those who are learning English and I would recommend having a copy in one's private collection as it makes a good reference book too. School libraries should have a copy for students to use while learning about phrasal verbs. The book has both separable and inseparable phrasal verbs and the author has written about their usage with clarity. There are no complicated explanations or details and that makes it easy for students to understand and incorporate them into the language. The style adopted by the author also makes it easy to understand and learn. I found the book useful as it shows readers how, when used correctly, phrasal verbs can make sentences more effective. An excellent book that is helpful in teaching.
