The Big Sneeze by Linda Lamneck Medwig is a beautifully illustrated children’s book about playing, laughter and friendship. The Big Sneeze is a mother/daughter project with the colorful and beautiful illustrations done by the author's mother, Caroline Vlahakis Wissinger. Children will enjoy reading about the lovely friendship between Romie and Rosie, two fun loving bunny rabbits that are best friends. Romie and Rosie were enjoying themselves playing in the field until one day that all changed. Romie enjoyed being around Rosie so much that he gave her a gift. Once Romie gave Rosie the gift, he couldn't stop sneezing. Will Romie and Rosie be able to run, laugh and play together again? As children read The Big Sneeze by Linda Lamneck Medwig, they will enjoy not only the story but also the pictures and will want to read it over and over again.
I loved reading The Big Sneeze, not only because of the collaboration between Linda Lamneck Medwig and her mother, Caroline Vlahakis Wissinger, but because of the excellent storyline. The Big Sneeze is a tale that will encourage children to not only read but want more. The Big Sneeze is a great story about being best friends and when that changes, everyone is affected. In life it can be difficult to find a good friend that you enjoy being with. The Big Sneeze by Linda Lamneck Medwig will give children hope that being best friends is possible.
