The Bubble Rule (The Grover Series Book 2) by Clement Binnings Jr. is the second book in this series and introduces us to Duryodhana Talwar, an Indian Mafia mob boss and now an official business tycoon. When he has a vision of a young boy named Grover who is the Keeper of the Flame, he finds that his own conscience is calling him out for his deeds. When he wakes, he knows he can't have these events come to pass and decides that he must find and kill Grover. Meanwhile Dr. Luc Fontainebleau is recovering from the stress and emotional trauma caused by the disappearance of Lola during Hurricane Katrina. Things progress and then Dr. Luc Fontainebleau, Lola and Grover take off to Mumbai to visit friends, and the adventure twists and takes them down more serious paths from there.

The first thing I have to say is that I did not read the first book in this series so I had to catch up a little bit. However, everything is set up very well in this book and you can read it as a stand alone and truly enjoy it. There are a lot of characters and stories that seem to come in and tie together in a very complex way. Lola is my favorite character for the way she sees the world. She is a woman who has suffered and had a mental breakdown, but does not allow it to define her entire life. Despite everything, she has persevered and has to save children who have been sold into the sex trade. Lola is also a mother and not of just anyone, but of Grover, the Keeper of the Flame. Knowing she is a mother and the danger Grover faces just made me feel even more connected to her as a character. If you want a thriller that flows well and truly has many twists and turns, this is the book for you. Author Clement Binnings Jr. has really written a great piece here.

The Bubble Rule (The Grover Series Book two) by Clement Binnings Jr. is a supernatural thriller that is the sequel to Readers Favorite Bronze Medal winner Angel Through the Storms. Five-year-old Grover is a crystal child, meaning he has a deep level of consciousness and unity with God (or a God source). Dr. Luc Fontainebleau delivered Grover and has a deep spiritual connection with the unique child. Lola, Grover's mother, is now Luc's girlfriend and thinks things are looking up. Until a mob boss in India who lives with violence and death as part of his every day life experiences a metaphysical presence that can only be described as the awakening of his conscience.

The mob boss wants to silence this voice that comes from the mouth of a boy and go back to his normal, wicked ways. Duryodhana Talwar vows to eliminate the boy (Grover) from the planet, and because he is wealthy and powerful he has the means and resources to make good on this threat. This pulls Grover, Luc, and Lola into a metaphysical thriller that is bigger than just Grover versus Duryodhana Talwar, because as a fully enlightened spiritual master, Grover threatens to wipe out the world's evil and bring consciousness to all.

This is a unique story and a series that will be attractive to the right audience. Readers who understand the idea of consciousness and spiritual masters will find the story thrilling and dangerous, exciting and terrifying. This is a good fiction novel with rich setting descriptions, engaging characters, and story lines that captivate and will hold the reader's imagination all the way through to the final page.

“So you believe, and as you believe, it will be,” is one of the statements found in the opening lines of this thrilling book that talks about a man’s fight against himself, and his awakening to the light that shines through him. The Bubble Rule (The Grover Series Book 2) by Clement Binnings Jr is one of the books that reminds me of the Bhagavad Gita. Duryodhana Talwar is the kind of mob king that never takes orders from anyone and he believes that wealth and power are synonymous with righteousness and virtue. But when he hears the voice of his own conscience, spoken through the mouth of the young boy Grover, he is convinced that his entire life and the riches he’s built could be ruined forever. In the field of Kurukshtetra, the hero of this engaging story will ultimately meet his nemesis. What happens then is interesting to watch.

In The Bubble Rule (The Grover Series Book 2), Clement Binnings Jr introduces a theme that is very rarely spoken about in literature: the conscience and the relationship between the soul and the body. The author’s style is simple and poetic, a language that erupts powerfully from a sacred region of the mind, where things are identified and named. Those who are interested in oriental philosophy and metaphysics will immediately love this book. It’s a story about mustering the courage to encounter one’s self with honesty. Binnings' writing will most certainly appeal to a multitude of readers and create a large following.

In a highly unique and unusual read by author Clement Binnings, Jr., The Bubble Rule is a book that readers will certainly turn over in their minds while they are reading it and long afterwards. Dr. Luc Fountainebleau, his girlfriend Lola, and Lola's son Grover are visiting Mumbai after New Orleans has been devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Luc needs to emotionally recover from the trauma he experienced when Lola had a psychiatric breakdown after Katrina and disappeared. Meanwhile, an Indian mob boss, Duryodhana Talwar, has a vision of Grover who speaks to him as his own conscience. He vows to find and kill him. Complicating matters is that Lola is trying to help victims of of the mob's sex trafficking, and Luc fears that this remind her so much of her own victimization as a child that she will suffer another breakdown in her mental health. But he himself is starting to believe that Lola's son, Grover, is an angel, and the girl that Lola has rescued has something to do with his own Karmic future. As he fights his own inner battle, Duryodhana must fight his.

The Bubble Rule is an incredibly intriguing read. Very different from most books that readers will come across, this story is almost poetical in parts, delves deep into the recesses of the human psyche, and is extremely thought provoking. Author Clement Binnings, Jr. has done an excellent job in creating well-drawn characters and scenes that, while not necessarily of this world, will somehow feel realistic. Readers who enjoy supernatural fiction or just a unique and creative read will love The Bubble Rule, and I certainly recommend that they give it a chance.

In an interesting, intriguing, challenging and at times even an ethereal read, The Bubble Rule by author Clement Binnings, Jr. is quite a read! Follow the story of Indian mob boss Duryodhana Talwar and his experience of a vision that serves to change the course of his life, as he realizes that one of the figures he encounters in his vision is his own conscience. The story is told by Dr. Luc Fontainebleau who is recovering from the disappearance of his beloved girlfriend, Lola, during Hurricane Katrina, after she suffered from a psychological breakdown. Now in Mumbai with Lola and her son, Grover, Luc tries to heal while Lola takes action against the mob's child sex trafficking. Luc worries that this project is too much for her, and that she might spiral again into the turmoil of her mental illness. This story combines elements of the mortal and the divine, and ultimately could end in a mythological battle within the souls of both Luc and Duryodhana.

I very much enjoyed The Bubble Rule. A note to readers, this is certainly not a piece of literature that could be deemed light reading or a beach read. Author Clement Binnings, Jr. has provided his readers with a highly lyrical story that will take some real thought and, at times, concentration, to move through. But it is absolutely worth the effort. Author Binnings has provided a great follow up to the original book in this series, and I, for one, certainly hope that he is working on another novel in this same vein. Any reader who simply loves a great work of fiction and a story that will stay with them long after the final page is done should absolutely read The Bubble Rule as soon as they can!
