Successful people always see failures as temporary hurdles that can be overcome through persistence and determination. Dr. Glen N. Robison's journey to becoming a podiatric surgeon and physician proves that. In addition, Glen is also a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and a myopractor who specializes in prolotherapy. In Show Them, he shares his story. With a childhood spent in the haze of asthma attacks, Glen found unconditional support from his mother, who taught piano to pay for his doctor's bills. His path through medical training was filled with personal hardships, including tight budgets, kidney stones, the pressure of externships, and many nights sleeping at bus stations. But curiosity, grit, and faith helped shape his courage during adversity and made him into the man he later became. He also fulfilled the promise he made to a friend in medical school.
Show Them is an inspiring story of never giving up on one's dreams. Despite facing all sorts of challenges from childhood, Dr. Glen N. Robison held on to his faith and self-belief until he finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor, something his mother always wanted. Glen's story will resonate with anyone who had to overcome all kinds of odds to achieve their goals. I found this memoir really motivational, and I think a lot of people will relate to the author and his journey. Of course, the challenges he faced are unique to his own life, but his reliance on faith, family, and friends is something many people can relate to. The narrative is intimate but also offers profound insights into what drives people toward success and fulfillment. I really enjoyed reading Glen's story, and I highly recommend it to other readers.
