In The Climate Misinformation Crisis: How To Move Past The Mistruths To A Smarter Energy Future, author Tushar Choudhary shows how misinformation can play a dangerous role in life and cause harm to those who believe it. This is as true for personal and social issues as political and environmental problems. Activists and skeptics are typically opposite in their beliefs but thrive on fear. Some believe climate change is natural rather than man-made, and some deny that the depletion of fossil fuels can threaten Earth. From melting glaciers to warming oceans and the impact all over the world, the signs of Earth’s growing problems are proof that climate change is, in fact, a serious problem. Misleading information from the few who refuse to see the problems for what they are makes finding useful solutions much harder than it should be.

The Climate Misinformation Crisis is a very interesting book full of compelling information that helps you see past some of the hype so that you can understand what climate change is doing to our planet. I love how the author doesn’t just focus on one side of an issue. I appreciated seeing more than one view, making it easier to determine what was misleading and what was scientifically backed by evidence. I recommend The Climate Misinformation Crisis by Tushar Choudhary to anyone interested in learning more about climate change, the effect it has on our planet, and the science that backs up the reality of the global situation.
