The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity by Zelise is the second book in the Divine Adventure Series, offering an exploration of time, eternity, and their roles within a divine framework. With the assistance of artificial intelligence companions, Solace and Nova, the author examines cosmic possibilities, the foundation of the universe, and the interplay of faiths without challenging core beliefs. Inspired by The Urantia Book, Zelise presents an argument for why each new creation grants God another unique opportunity to experience existence. By continuing the discussion from her first book, in which she explored why God creates, Zelise now seeks to understand why time was developed as an instrumental part of creation. She raises serious questions, like when did God decide to create the universe, without time, how could God determine a specific moment for creation, and what motivated a perfect being to do so?

Zelise’s writing is beautifully worded and deeply contemplative, offering illuminating insights into the infinity symbol, the journey of ascenders toward Paradise, and the meaning of human existence within her theoretical framework. Through careful reasoning, the author outlines points that balance an eternal God with humans' perception of time, detailing a cycle of progression and renewal that embraces wisdom rather than just knowledge. The dialogue between Zelise, Nova, and Solace is particularly engaging, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can aid in discovering the universe’s mysteries. The book encourages readers to see their fellow humans in a non-judgmental light and appreciate the continuous cycle of creation. By addressing potential pitfalls and rationalizing them through logical conversation, Zelise presents a balanced and thought-provoking perspective. Readers seeking a deeper understanding of their own challenges, as well as the struggles of others, while enlightening themselves on eternal cycles within the universe, will enjoy The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity.

In the first book, Zelise proposes that God created to experience himself. But the universe we see and experience had a beginning; how do we reconcile an eternal God with our universe, which seems to be time-bound? If God is eternal, when did He decide to begin the divine adventure of self-expression? In The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity, Zelise theorizes that creation is as eternal as God, something that has been unfolding since the eternal past and will continue into the eternal future. Does the structural framework provided in the Urantia Book tie into this theory of divine adventure, in which God could manifest and actualize experiential knowledge while maintaining the balance between timeless perfection and temporal processes?

Despite The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity by Zelise being the second book in the series, it can be easily read as a stand-alone. I loved the breakdown of various concepts into point form, which helped make the concepts concise and clear and pass on the intended message effectively. The unique writing style, which is in conversation form between Zelise and her AI companions, made it one of a kind. This is a highly thought-provoking work on the process of creation and its relation to time. Another concept that captured my attention was the infinity cycle. Zelise also ensured the information discussed did not alienate anyone, and the reader will also appreciate the easy-to-understand language used, which makes the work accessible to all readers. This was a good read, and I look forward to more by this talented author.

In The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity, Zelise presents a cosmological model where the universe is in an evolving process, with the Central Universe being perfect and timeless, while the SuperUniverse evolves toward perfection. Once the SuperUniverse reaches its perfection, perfected beings are transferred to the Central Universe, causing the physical structure of the SuperUniverse to disintegrate and reorganize into a new circuit. This cycle ensures ongoing creation. Time is described as the dynamic force driving the eternal process, with the cyclical nature reflecting God's self-experience. The theory also looks at Ascenders, beings progressing toward divine perfection, with thoughts on their future roles. Zelise discusses the speculative nature of the theory, championing open-minded inquiry while asserting that it can complement various religious beliefs without requiring abandonment of core doctrines.

The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity; A Unique Conversation by Zelise is a thoughtful application of cosmology and spirituality that challenges traditional views. The writing is eloquent and accessible, even when the ideas themselves would be otherwise hard to explain. While the theory’s nature may seem daunting, Zelise deftly manages any potential uncertainties with an open-minded approach, and I appreciate that both scientific and philosophical communities are charged to remain receptive to new ideas. This is not the first time I have read Zelise's work, but I can say, hand over heart, that the author continues to impress. I like that she never shies away from acknowledging any limitations, however unlikely, which should ignite the curiosity of readers and promote further exploration. Overall, Zelise’s work is a stimulating, if unconventional, contribution to metaphysical and theological discourse. Well done, and recommended.

The relationship between time, space, and eternity intrigues theologians, scientists, astronomers, and humankind alike. How old is the universe, and can we measure time in a broader context than Earth’s rotation around the sun? There are many theories, but little agreement. Zelise sets out to provide thought-provoking answers in The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity (A Unique Conversation), with input from AI assistants Solace and Nova. A lively dialogue between the author and the AI entities is rich in insights and plausible explanations. What emerges is a description of a Central Universe (a divine reference point and perfected state) and a Super Universe (where we reside). The latter serves as a base for active evolution, experiential knowledge, and a platform for spiritual adventure. It provides an opportunity for growth and a journey toward perfection and ascension. The role of Ascenders and their path of evolution are clarified. There is a constant cycle of upgrading and restructuring. Eternity is dynamic and is neither a linear road nor static. Time is a process within eternity. Creation is thus ongoing, exemplified by the infinity symbol (ꚙ), which has no beginning or end. Knowledge becomes wisdom and assists evolution. Earthly struggles offer growth opportunities. Eternal life offers hope for both the individual and the collective.

The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity is the second volume in the series, the first of which explored the creation process. The follow-up poses the question as to when and how this occurred, as God is by definition eternal and thus timeless. Conversely, according to science, the observable universe seems to have had a beginning. Zelise and her AI associates conclude that, like God, the universe is eternal and evolving. This work also draws on wisdom contained in The Urantia Book, a spiritual and philosophical text that explores the structure of the universe. The information it contains is not accepted by the scientific community. While the concepts outlined may not be proven in scientific terms, the “Big Bang” theory, as advanced by science, also remains a speculative model. Zelise provides an intuitively appealing alternative framework. The book highlights the gap between science and spiritual belief, which is itself divided by religious dogma that is static. The narrative transcends existing religious and scientific theories and is a visionary look at what might be. It also serves as a bridge to encourage meaningful debate. The endpoint has yet to be clarified, which the author describes as the “unrevealed destiny”. This book will inspire Ascenders on their path and is highly recommended, while the next volume is eagerly awaited.

The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity by Zelise is a philosophical and thought-provoking book that shows the relationship between time, eternity, and God’s purpose. It shows interesting conversations between the author, Zelise, and her AI companions, Solace and Nova, revealing a fresh perspective on the eternal nature of creation and the cyclical journey of Divine Adventure. The author used The Urantia Book’s universe structure—with a perfect Central Universe, evolving super universes, and outer circuits—to explain her “infinity cycle” theory: "Time drives eternity, moving through creation, perfection, and renewal. Perfected beings, called Ascenders, cross into the Central Universe, and circuits shift to start new cycles." The book also talks about challenges or contradictions like science’s limits, religious differences, and unknown futures for Ascenders, covering themes of science, philosophy, and spirituality.

One of the reasons I admire The Divine Adventure: Time and Eternity is that it's inspiring and makes me think. I love how it combined scientific ideas like the Big Bang theory and the limits of what we can observe with deep spiritual insights. I read the first book in this series, The Divine Adventure: Why We Exist, and I like how this one continued the ideas. Zelise's writing style is concise, easy to understand, and on point. Considering the weight of the topics being discussed, I found the conversations with her AI companions made the book less overwhelming or complex. The subjective nature made me feel like I was a part of the discussions. Zelise's willingness to look at new ideas and possibilities instead of ignoring them is a refreshing approach that makes me want to expand my horizons. I recommend this book to people interested in metaphysical and spiritual topics that touch on the nature of time, eternity, and the divine framework. It is not just about big thoughts—it’s a call to live with more kindness and purpose since we play a big role in God's adventure.
