Miranda has been called to Mystica to help fight the darkness in The Dream Walker Returns, Land of Mystica Series by Michelle Murray. I don't usually read adventure stories involving magic and mystical creatures, but I finished the whole book within a few hours of starting. The story of Miranda fighting darkness and Brian trying to help is intriguing and offers lots of descriptions to help the reader understand the Land of Mystica. The fight between good and evil is strong within this novel, and the twists and turns of the story drew me in from chapter one. With the assistance of the wizard, darkness has found a way to resurface, and Miranda gets help from all kinds of creatures along the way in her journey.
The end of the story was a little hard to follow, but the storyline came together with an interesting twist on the ending, which makes me wonder if there will be another novel within the magical land. If I had to rate this novel I would give it 4 stars because it was very descriptive and I enjoyed all the creatures and their magical powers - it reminded me of my childhood and the love I had for stories that involved magic and enchantment. I am looking forward to reading the first volume of The Dream Walker, Land of Mystica by Michelle Murray to make sure I totally understood volume 2 of the story.
