The Drive To Aim High is a guidebook for self-help penned by author Al Kamara, one which promises to teach ‘Seven Powerful Mindsets Proven to Guarantee Your Success’. The author’s life story teaches that success can come from even the most turbulent circumstances, as he himself rose from a tiny village in Liberia to become a successful entrepreneur. As such, Kamara offers the prospect of ‘thinking big’ to achieve big things, throwing away ideas of being trapped in a dead end job and progressing to the future that you believe you deserve. Through seven different approaches to emotions, goals, toughening up and more, this book offers strategies to see those grand dreams achieved.
One of the most interesting qualities of this book is the idea that great things can start with small changes and the small implementation of positive mindsets into everyday activities. The guide is organized into different chapters that explore specific personality qualities; for example, the idea of removing the fear of failure, and then the chapter develops into an informative session relating to both the author’s own viewpoint and the ways in which you can instill courage in yourself on a daily basis, through challenges large or small. Author Al Kamara writes in an empowering, clear narrative that echoes its inspiration into the minds of readers, and it feels genuinely as though he wants his readers to adopt that same confidence in everything they undertake. Overall, The Drive To Aim High is a well-organized self-help guide for anyone who needs a boost to get out of their current situation.
