The Efficient Management Reference is filled with a wealth of information. This book enables the reader to learn without having to look at a variety of resources as it contains some of the best advice and information that one could find in detailed research. This book enables the reader to get information that would be a great reference tool. Pulling this resource out to examine as issues arise would be worth its cost. There are many different types of examples given concerning management and how different approaches could result in different outcomes. Some of those examples are: “Pareto” problem solving method; “DMAIC” problem solving method, and “Lean Six Sigma”. These are just some that author Jerzy Jakimowicz gives in fine detail, which enables the reader to learn more about management. This book is filled with some of the finest management skills found anywhere.
Author Jerzy Jakimowicz gives tremendous detail in such a way that is easy to understand with charts and examples of the points he is making. One of his fine statements is: “Leadership and the Management Operating System (MOS) is the key to creating the lean culture with engaged employees.” (Jakimowicz, 2016. Pg. 10). There are many great quotes, points and charts found within this wealth of information. Finding this material enables the reader to have an immediate place for direction, information, and reference to better lead their team forward to become more productive and efficient. While this book may be ahead of some readers, it is certainly a diamond in the rough for the business minded reader.
