The Food Dare by Lindsey Banks gives us an informative look at how to change your life and eating habits. This is a comprehensive guide with dares each day to help you change your eating and lifestyle habits. One of the essential things that she explained is to drink more water, especially upon waking. Our bodies need this to cope with the day to day stresses our body goes through; water helps balance our body, helps hydrate us and makes us feel well. The food dare gives you a diary type of feel to the book, filling in what you have done and how you feel. Each day there is a "dare", a small task to help you change your eating habits. Whether it's drinking more water, eating more fruit and veg a day, or not eating the junk we usually stuff into our mouths. This, in turn, gently changes us for the better! An excellent solution for a healthy and happier life.
The Food Dare by Lindsey Banks is a wonderful, informative aid to changing your life for the better. She cleverly gives you a daily task to complete, which in turn does not feel like a mammoth chore. What this does is change your habits bit by bit, giving you a whole new outlook on life. An extremely well written and researched book, with the ability to give advice without being monotonous, which would make us stop reading and give up.
