Author Biography

I am RJ Capone, and this is Loki's Quest.

Born in Saratoga Springs, New York in 1958 ...Graduated from Ballston Spa High school (class of 1976) and getting a late start in writing, I have been a long time role player from the early D&D days.
It has long been my dream to tell the story of my fictional world Kambarington, and the story of the lives that call Druid Lake home. The characters in the story are based on real life people, but those people may (or may not) live the lives that I have portrayed in my stories.

The Nation of Kambarington is in trouble again and the group from ‘The Other Place’ who have set up their lives around the Lake are ready to help. In Book Two of the Kambarington Saga, The Friends of the Guardian by R.J. Capone, Syrus, Drake, Cormac and the Druid, Lucian, must work together to discover who or what is responsible for a terrible illness that is killing the human population. All the work that was done to bring the different races together to defeat the evil Baltazor in Book One is coming undone as the humans think the elves have caused the problem and the dwarves don’t want to get involved. With their special abilities, the group splits up to find answers and prevent the spread of this deadly virus. Their faith in each other and their undying desire to find the truth bring them together at the end to wipe out the power-hungry villain whose goal was to rule the nations.

The Friends of the Guardian: The Kambarington Saga – Book 2 by R.J. Capone is another wonderful story perfect for middle school readers and anyone who enjoys an epic adventure involving different types of characters and a bit of magic. Great as a chapter book or non-stop, page-turning read for those anxious to see what happens next, the writing is clear and the plot is straight-forward. The descriptions of Kambarington really help to put you right in the action as you see exactly what the characters are experiencing. Interesting, exciting, and full of positive attitudes, this is a book I can highly recommend to readers of all ages.
