This is the story of four people whose lives are intertwined.
Joseph wakes up in a house with no recollection of where he is from; he is sure that he has a wife that is waiting at home for him.

Antoinette,in the last stages of Alzheimer’s, just wants to stay in bed and sleep. Through her dreams she can live out the early years of her marriage with her long departed husband and her sons, one alive and one dead.

Warren, Antoinette’s son, has his own problems. He’s out of work and going through a divorce. Each day he visits with his mother. He begins cooking some of her favorite meals and things she cooked for him as a child.

Will’s parents are both dead and he has been shuffled from one foster home to another. He feels the need to help Joseph find who he is and where he belongs.

This is a story of love and heartache, drama and peace. Any child with an aging parent will understand and relate to the plot. The ending will leave the reader with mixed emotions. The characters in the book are finally on their 'Journey Home'. If you are a Nicholas Sparks fan, then you will enjoy Michael Baron’s books. Written with love and compassion, this is a book that will stay with you long after you finish it. I have just added a new author to my collection of favorites.
