Michele Chynoweth is an award-winning author of two books, The Faithful One and The Peace Maker, both modern-day novels of suspese and romance based on stories in the Bible. Prior to becoming a published author, Michele worked as a news reporter, advertising agency owner and marketing director. She has won several awards for her work including first place in the drama category of the Maryland Writers Association Fiction Contest. Michele is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, is recently remarried, has five children and lives in her native Maryland.
Michele believes that the stories in the Bible - and more importantly, the people captured in them - are compelling, but because they were written so long ago, readers today have difficulty relating to or comprehending them. She therefore would like to continue writing novels that "re-imagine" them through modern-day versions that grip today's readers and still get God's messages across.

The race to The White House is set to be an interesting one. No one knows who may be the next one to claim the office and both Leif and Darren are extremely passionate about reaching that goal. Leif, the humble horse trainer from Kentucky, and Darren, the rich boy from New York, are pitted head to head. But there is more to this battle than meets the eye. Both Darren and Leif have things to hide in their past and they’re determined to defeat each other, no matter what it may mean for them in the end. It’s going to be up to Chessa, Darren’s wife, to ensure that both of them are able to escape from the battle unscathed. The Peace Maker will definitely have her work cut out for her this time around.
Chessa is a slightly naïve college girl who gets swept off her feet by a handsome older man. It’s definitely a role that many young women can relate to and, when you consider the man, it seems very likely. But Darren isn’t everything he seems to be and in fact the secrets he’s hiding are what make him even more interesting. The Peace Maker by Michele Chynoweth is the type of story that many young women have lived in one way or another. Many of us have been like Chessa, caught between the one we love and doing what’s right, but how can you decide what’s right when your heart and your mind are conflicted?
