The story that Chari Smith presents to us is from the perspective of The Piano, which tells us about the arrival of the piano in a new house, where an adorable girl named Katie approaches it, and with the help of a teacher Katie learns to play. The Piano is a tender story of the deep relationship between the musical instrument and its owner through time, where friendship and love remain constant. It does not matter if you have not played a musical instrument before; this story will enrich all readers. Chari Smith not only has an excellent story but it is also accompanied by original illustrations with carefully chosen colors. The connection between words and images is perfect.
The Piano is a really beautiful book in every respect. The illustrations feature a very creative and original harmony of color, while the words tell us a simple but emotional story with an unexpected twist. The theme is positive, and above all, The Piano has an inspirational message for both children and adults. It was a great experience to read a book like this. Chari Smith's attention to every aspect is magnificent. I loved The Piano because it tells us both about the love of music and about growing up as part of the cycle of life. This is a book that every child should have in their collection and is perfect for introducing little ones to reading.
