The Pleasure Principle by Kimberly Adkins is a sizzling romance about two men fighting over the same woman. Anderson Cain and Julian Brax have been best friends since college. They’ve never let a woman come between them. But when Anderson Cain starts a new experiment, that could potentially change. Dr. Cain is researching the subject of sexual pleasure. And Alice Dahl, the woman who cleans his house, is interested in learning more about his secretive experiments. When she finds out where Dr. Cain meets his subjects, she decides to go to the secret BDSM club and see what she can experience and learn. What she doesn't know is that the club is owned by Julian Brax. When Alice walks into his club, Julian is immediately attracted to her innocence. Alice is overwhelmed by the new world of dominants and submissives that she's been dropped into. When Julian decides he wants Alice, he doesn't realize that she is Anderson's next subject. They've never let a woman come between them before, so perhaps this time they want to enjoy sharing...
This was a very interesting, very romantic story full of sizzle and edginess. I enjoyed the fact that Alice changed from a shy, mousy woman into a daring sexual being. She wasn't afraid to enter a new, interesting club, even though it was out of her element. She was willing to listen to the feelings that were pounding in her heart whenever she was around both of the sexy main characters, and I think other readers will agree that it's something they can relate to.
