Author Biography

The author’s background in the sciences and interest in ancient civilizations culminated in the production of his first novel, The Sumerian Connection.

For over forty years, he contributed to the scientific knowledge base in a number of technical fields, surface science, polymer chemistry, aerospace, relay technology, power supply technology, printed circuit card production, and more. His career started as a member on the staff at Lowell Technological Institute and later at Lowell State College, now part of the University of Massachusetts system of colleges, and Chemistry and Mathematics instructor at several Massachusetts community colleges.

Owner of two patents. He has authored many technical papers and has been nationally recognized as a technical innovator listed in ‘Men of Achievement 1990’ and ‘Men and Women of Distinction 1992’.

The Portal of Dimensions & The Beings of Light: The Sumerian Connection is a work of fiction in the historical, science fiction, and adventure subgenres, and is the opening novel of a new series. The work is best suited to the general adult reading audience. Penned by author Alan Wisniewski, the plot delves into an adventure entwined with the mysteries of ancient civilizations in the Middle East. Peter Abrams and Jennifer Talbot's fascination with a Sumerian artifact, the Dimensions Disc, propels them into a quest spanning realms of history and romance. With cuneiform inscriptions on one side and older pictographs on the other, the disc holds secrets that alter their lives and unveil an alternative reality. As they delve deeper, the unleashed powers of the Dimensions Disc set off a chain of exhilarating events, unfolding unexpected twists and revealing the profound impact of ancient knowledge on contemporary lives.

Author Alan Wisniewski has crafted a novel that offers an immersive and atmospheric journey through layers of history and imagination. The author skillfully weaves together ancient mysteries and contemporary romance, making the narrative both intellectually stimulating and emotionally engaging with an ideal balance of both.
