"The Serpent’s Grasp" is the best book I have read for a while and the most interesting Christian and mystery tale I have ever read. I really like the action mingled with the religious lessons within this book. It is an awesome mix between a search for God and high marine adventures. "The Serpent’s Grasp" is a very good mix for readers of spy stories and mysteries, and those who love clean books and don’t analyze the truth of every tale they read. Some books are just to enjoy. When Micah’s coast guard boat receives a distress call from a woman that says she has been attacked by a sea monster, all he could think was, “another loco in the sea.” That is until he started an investigation of his own. As a coast guard officer, he didn’t amount to a whole lot, but his past involvement with intelligence at a top level tells him that this attack was more than what met the eye. Soon, he teams up with the woman whose husband had been having an affair in the boat the night of the attack and had been killed by the creature. Betrayed and lost, Evelyn turns to all she has: her laboratory as a biologist. With the help of Micah and her assistant John, the three embark on the most fascinating and terror-striking quest. It may very well take their lives, but they won’t give in, and all they have to go on is a piece of meat and the love of God.

This is a fast paced tale that will keep you guessing and turning the pages to the wee hours of the night. It is a great choice for readers who want to explore tales between the theory of evolution and that of the creation. In addition, it is excellent reading for young adults and adults alike. Kevin tops it off with a great plot full of twists and turns in every chapter.
