Mr. Waldorf is on a new trip in The Spectacular World of Waldorf: Mr. Waldorf Travels to Montana, Big Sky Country by Beth Ann Stifflemire and Barbara Terry. Mr. Waldorf views the many lakes of Glacier National Park in Montana. He loses his glasses while trying to view a herd of mountain goats in the distance. He has to find them before he leaves Montana or he will not be able to read books. Mr. Waldorf takes readers through the places of interest in Montana as he goes in search of his glasses and teaches them about Montana.
It is an excellent educational and informative book that will develop an interest among children to travel to new places and learn more about different places. The pictures are delightful and they make the concept clear and the scenes vivid to children. Young readers visit the Glacier National Park in Montana, go snow skiing, see Helena, the state capital of Montana, fly in a sea plane, and do many other exciting and adventurous things with Mr. Waldorf. The book is good to have in children’s libraries as reference and reading material and is a lovely bedtime storybook. Books like this are good for children to expose them to travel, discovering new places, and learning interesting things about various places in the world. The story is simple and the illustrations take readers right into the places along with Mr. Waldorf. Will Mr. Waldorf find his spectacles? Which new place will he take young readers to next?
