Sixteen years ago, Deldamar was the most dreaded assassin of the Order of Death. He was obsessed with uniting the seven magical stones of power to fulfill a prophecy. The one who found the stones would become the god of Stonaria. A child was born the night he gained one stone and left destruction behind. The child’s name was Michael, who wielded the most powerful magical stone. Michael was the chosen one, who must also unite all the stones to fulfill his destiny. The murder of Michael’s father activated his journey to finding the treasures so he could defeat Deldamar and avenge his father’s death. Two men have one goal but different motives, and it’s a race against time. Watch out for the drama in The Stone of Life by Scott Newman.

The Stone of Life by Scott Newman is a riveting tale of survival. This book features magic, romance, sorcery, and more. I felt the characters gave off the Justice League vibe, with Superman, Batman, Flash, and the team warring against Steppenwolf and his cronies. So if you want a paranormal story that will make you hold your breath, read this novel. The plot, development, and storyline were brilliant and had depth. I loved many characters, from Michael to Alex, Tomison, Keira, and Julia. The Stone of Life was captivating, fast-paced, and action-packed. It was also unpredictable so I didn’t know what would happen the next minute. The tension was high, but Berrock helped with humor. I couldn’t stop laughing at his reaction to having an emergency wife. Scott is a talented writer, and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series.
