Author Biography

Micah Inouye is an American author and publisher. Micah lives in Orange County, California where she grew up with her parents – Ron and Lilian – and her two older brothers – Billie and Jeff. Oddly enough, all three siblings are exactly eleven years apart from one another, meaning the age difference between Micah and her eldest brother is twenty-two years! From a young age, Micah was taught the importance of having a good imagination, a grand sense of adventure, and a great sense of humor. These three traits would greatly affect Micah’s writing style, allowing her to incorporate new worlds, exciting adventures, and the humorous narrator – Anthony – into her novel, The Tale of Two. To this day, Micah has not only successfully published her first novel but she has also successfully started her own publishing company, ReadOn Publishing. Her company strives on assisting aspiring authors to become published authors. At the age of eighteen years old, Micah has grown to appreciate the fact that everyone has a great destiny ahead of them and it takes hard work, perseverance, and a faith to get there but once you do, it’ll all be worth it.

In The Tale of Two by Micah Inouye, two little kids brought together by misfortune and fate grew up to be best friends. Living across the street from each other, Lexi and Darren grow up to be as close as siblings. Unbeknownst to them, however, they had much more in common than their friendship. Growing up, the two were obsessed with magic and often created imaginary tales of faraway magical lands. What they thought were mere workings of their childhood imaginations turned out to be real worlds after the two teenagers received their powers and discovered long lost memories and their true identities. With their memories came their purpose - to search for their biological parents who were banished to the unknown worlds of this universe. Their search will take them to the land of misfits and outcasts, to the land of the rich and the royals, to the land of soldiers and warriors, to the land of the magicians, to the land of the great wizards, and finally to the land of the banished and the exiled.

The Tale of Two by Micah Inouye is an amazing YA fantasy adventure that will have you glued to the pages while you follow the two friends as they leave behind the only home they knew and set out on an adventure of a lifetime, with all the thrills and the challenges that they will encounter. The magical worlds are unique and memorable and just the perfect setting for this adventure while the pivotal characters are fresh and inviting; you will be drawn to them and into their magical planet as you discover the different worlds with them. The story tells an amazing adventure, but it also shares important insights about bullying and the need to have a friend that will be there for you, no matter what, so you do not have to face the bullies alone.
