The Teaching Of Little Crow: The Journey of the Soul is a work of metaphysical, conceptual and romantic fiction penned by author Angelina Heart, and is presented in audiobook format with a full cast of characters from Spiral Studios. In this adventurous tale of spiritual self-discovery, we focus on a movie star and rock god, Dylan Crow, when he is at the peak of his career. Soaked in his own hubris and the mountains of wealth that success has brought him, Dylan still feels incomplete somehow. When he meets his Twin Flame, however, the spirals come undone, and Dylan discovers the true meaning of his life through divine illumination.
The meaning of New Age religions and spirituality can be a mystery to some, but author Angelina Heart uses her novel as an effective means of teaching people to discover their own pieces and fit them together through faith in the divine. Dylan’s story, in itself, is an interesting come down from an ego trip, but the plot delivers much deeper significances about the emptiness that people often feel, and what can be done to reach the heart of it.
In terms of audio quality, the piece is very well cast and truly benefits from its massive ensemble of characters. The dialogue lives and breathes through different voices effortlessly, and is led confidently with narration from author Angelina Heart. The editing was crisp and clean with very little distortion, making it an enjoyable and cinematic experience on the ear. Overall, The Teaching Of Little Crow: The Journey of the Soul is a compelling romance and a spiritual education wrapped into a very engaging listening experience.
