The Titan Protocol is a work of fiction in the military and action subgenres. It is best suited to the adult reading audience and was penned by author David Scott. In this tense and gripping contemporary military tale, we find ourselves deep in the thick of it when a former special forces soldier gets himself wrapped up in AI weapons and an international arms smuggling ring. Isaac Northe is a recovering alcoholic who spends his working hours using his former skills to break into corporate installations, but his latest contract puts him in the path of assassins, mercenaries, and the CIA as they all scramble to complete their own vicious agendas.

Author David Scott has crafted a superb work of military fiction that gets right to the point and holds you in suspense from cover to cover. This is a concise and fast-paced story with no unnecessary detail, which suits the sharp style of the characters and the overall themes of the story immensely well. One of the standout features for me personally was the dialogue, especially in our protagonist Isaac Northe, who speaks with a viciously dry undertone and takes each crisis in his stride despite the dire straits he finds himself in. The action is cinematically described to offer highly visual quality when you’re reading about each tense moment, and the plot hooks together different strands and perspectives really well to bring the whole story to a startling but very neat conclusion. Overall, I’d certainly recommend The Titan Protocol for modern military fiction fans everywhere.
