As concern over climate change grows, all sections of society must participate in corrective action. Peter Suchmann believes that young people should be involved by understanding the issues and creating awareness in their communities. The "Unstoppable" Student Workbook meets this need admirably. The author suggests that students set up Earth Action Clubs in schools, with a cycle of ten weekly meetings. The structure for these meetings is provided. Where they exist, Transition Town Groups in the area can provide additional support. The guide covers the process of setting up a group, beginning with the election of office bearers and project leaders, setting goals, and formulating a mission statement. What follows is the need to find a facilitator, secure funding, keep proper records, and recruit new members. Useful suggestions include conducting a green audit of your school, covering areas such as waste management and limiting energy usage. Another tip is to replace disposable plastic water bottles with reusable metal containers or start a garden. Awards can be presented to deserving participants to recognize their contributions. The group can host debates, write to newspaper editors, and counter industry disinformation or media bias.

Peter Suchmann is an experienced teacher and is passionate about highlighting climate change. The "Unstoppable" Student Workbook is a companion volume to the author’s eBook series on environmental activism. It is a call to action, aimed at middle and high school students and teachers. Guidelines are provided. Focus areas, structure, and purpose are outlined, as well as typical projects and activities. The author encourages students to be informed. They should publicize their activities and send messages to politicians and business leaders. The workbook is practical and motivational. It includes quotes concerning the impact of climate change from a variety of sources. Free phone apps are available to readers, and there are also numerous links to related websites. The writing style is concise, conversational, and informative. It avoids over-elaboration or becoming too academic. The workbook provides a flexible action plan. It will become a reference and source of inspiration to the younger generation, particularly those concerned about climate change.
