As she watches the progress the other bees have made since noon, the small bee feels unworthy and believes she is not strong enough to achieve as much as they have. Big Bee encourages her, and with the hope of earning a reward, the small bee decides to work for the short time she has left. Ultimately, the small bee learns valuable lessons about teamwork, self-worth, and the importance of every individual's contribution.
