Books often open a door to a world full of possibilities. You could be busy climbing high towers and saving the world with your cool superpowers. You could be teaching a new puppy some tricks. Building a grand tree house with rickety sticks. Flying off into space. Diving to explore spooky caves in the dark. Traveling the world on your magical kite. Or counting the stars at night. You could be anything and anywhere in a book. Every book has its own secrets and stories to tell. And there is always a friend waiting in every book. Just like every book, Misty Black’s This Book is Your Friend can’t wait to reveal a secret to you. Grab a copy to learn more.
Misty Black’s This Book is Your Friend is the type of story enthusiasts of children's concept and picture books will relish. Using a playful tone, Misty weaves a very short and easy read. The colorful images accompanying Misty’s words satisfied my imagination. Coupled with the way the different shades of color in the background complemented the images, this made the reading experience interesting. Misty’s choice of words will introduce kids to vocabulary in a variety of subjects. This ranges from sea diving to space exploration. Misty encourages kids to read and grow their love for books in This Book is Your Friend. Misty does this by showing just how much one can learn by turning the pages of a book.
