Racial unrest dominates America, which adds to the pandemonium. People have different viewpoints about what is going on, and emotions are running high. With all that is already going on, there are rumors that a group called NuLud has engineered technology that can disable the Internet worldwide. A lawyer named Pete and his Jamaican friend join forces with Pete’s neighbor to find answers. Pete and his friends discover that the rumors are true and that there is a technology that can disable the internet. Whoever has this technology will control the world and Pete and his friends are doing everything they can to prevent the global catastrophe.
Threads by T.D. Holt took me on a roller coaster ride that kept my interest from the first page until the last. It was outstanding! There is a lot of action in the story, and it is fast-paced with never a dull moment. The plot was planned and executed thoroughly. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and the book was hard to put down. The character development is exceptional and detailed. They were genuine and relatable, remaining strong throughout the story. The book is excellently written with a focus on love, faith, and truth. With all the unexpected twists and turns, I did not see the end coming. It exceeded my expectations.
