Tim and His Out-of-This-World Adventure by Sannel Larson is a fun read for kids. Tim is a red-haired, freckle-faced boy. One night he sees an albatross on his window sill. The bird gives him a knitted hat and asks him to wear it to go on a nighttime adventure. Tim climbs on the back of the albatross and they fly up through the snow-filled clouds. He goes to many exciting places in outer space and experiences many surprises and delights. The story shows the galaxy in a very exciting and different light and will charm young readers.
This highly imaginative, colorful and exciting story is made more effective with bright illustrations. They breathe life into the characters and scenes and give the story a good pace and movement. Tim has a wonderful time in outer space and he also splurges on ice cream, pizza and cotton candy. The book is a good bedtime storybook and parents and grandparents can read it out to their kids and grandkids. The story is also perfect for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. The book will captivate readers with its fantasy, magic, and adventurous ride through the sky and outer space.
