Hired killers stalk a geotechnical engineer, and he searches for a motive while he runs for his life in the thrilling suspense novel, Tinman by Karen Black and Matt Walton. When Charley, his mentor and friend, requests that he fly out to California, Greg is simultaneously exasperated and intrigued. Just as he is leaving his Minnesota home, the front of his residence is blown away by a bomb. Running to a neighbor's house, he calls Charley, and they make alternate plans to meet in Colorado. Once Greg arrives in Denver, he spies Charley walking towards him, but before their paths converge, two men murder Charley right in front of him. Realizing the bombing and Charley's murder must be connected, Greg is unsure of what he should do. Going to Charley's Aspen townhouse, he discovers that it is under surveillance by one of Charley's murderers. Not knowing the motive for Charley's death or the bombing of his house, Greg seeks answers. What did Charley have that is worth killing for, and why have they targeted Greg? Can Greg survive long enough to find out?

The environmental impact of massive construction is examined in the riveting and action-packed suspense novel, Tinman by Karen Black and Matt Walton. With engaging characters, a solid action-filled plot, and a fast-paced storyline, it is impossible to put this book down. From the beginning, a sense of urgency permeates the compelling plot as the conflict increasingly becomes more dangerous and puzzling.
